As bad as the DMCA was, Mangadex's handling of it is even worse. Personally, I think it might be time to move on. I've been going through the long procedure of transferring my Mangadex follow lists to a few other aggregators.
It's more that the Prince offered to lighten the punishment he was imposing on her (the exile) if she apologized to his new fiancé for bullying her. As she refused the exile stuck much to the shock and surprise of the prince. He still probably believes Sharon was bullying the new fiancé and it was just her pride that kept her from apologizing and avoiding exile. And he also probably believes that if he is able to bring her back to the kingdom to her parents out from the exile he'll be able to win them back over as allies even if he doesn't marry their daughter, thus strengthening his claim to the throne.
Oh don't worry, if the manga follows the novels closely, we should stop seeing them for a while as the real plot starts moving. They do come back since they still need to resolve the whole exile thing, but not any time soon
It's already refreshing to see a series where the royal family cares a single bit about the high nobles, like ducal families. Typically it's like the royals, even the mere princes, act as if nothing else mattered in the kingdom. And the cheap story actually supports that absurd notion by having all the nobles act like sheep. Or course there might have been some exceedingly rare series where the king was actually playing the nobles against each other, to keep their power in check.
Tbh, I also speechless. Like if they truly want to make manga that can support the author, then why don't they just make an official translation or just make the japanese company do the translation rather than strike every manga/manhwa websites in the internet
At least she is thinking about it a little. She seems more naive then anything. Infact she carries herself like either a commoner or a reincarnator. The ones who get summoned/or reborn and have no idea about the makings of the position they vye for. Though weirdly this chapter has me confused. On one end it makes you think she was trying to free the protag on the other when she uses the term pawn in context she doesn't sound like she thinks high on our protag.
Yeah the prince sucks. The prince on the literally screwed himself. He treats those who stand by him as medals to be adorned on him. His initial reasoning wasn't complete bad; healers being unique to the country has been hand wavingly good reason for many other reasons to swap marriage partners. Though more of the reason is that the healer is normally a Saint. The queen most like knows this and accepted it as it is something the girl brought to the table. Unfortunately he throughout the baby with the bathwater. He stupidly thinks that he can have his cake and eat it too. He's oldest so he got the best backer but he thought he didn't need to worry about his support base so he exiles his backers daughter. He literally erased his own worth. He might have made it in to the top 10 stupid royalty club.Ah, the old “I want to be with someone I truly love. This is definitely not because my old fiancé is better than me in every way and my fragile pride can’t handle that, so I want a woman at my side I can protect and be the dominant one in the relationship.” Tale as old as time
Right now it seems a lot of the shoujo villainess stories are safe, but everything else is up in the air. Lots of shonen and out of print stuff gone, I especially feel bad about the BL mangas that got cut, there’s a lot gone
I would just be ready to port to a backup site if you haven’t already, but keep your eyes peeled in case another round happens.
