First volume done and there's no End tag? Hell yeah!
My thoughts: I've said it before but I wish that the "twist" was that Itaru's actually a top and that's why all these opportunities are failing. But now even he's falling for Remi's bottom propaganda. But they're gonna end up together probably anyways so whatever
I can see this being a long running, large cast ensemble manga if it weren't a BL. Like I swear there's at least three loosely romance series with this exact premise but straight. Actually, I'm surprised there aren't that many shounen-vibe BLs out there, considering how many fujoshis are born from their fandoms. I can name around five, but has to be more out there. But a seriously written shounen style BL that casually confirms (and is not just fujobait fanservice) the relationship the MC and the otherwise best friend/rival/partner have, but is otherwise not that romantic is a niche I'm surprised hasn't been capitalized on yet. Doesn't even have to be like a stereotypical shounen, the manga I've seen that have this premise are loosely shounen (whether they are actually shounen or are subjects of "default male," who knows. They were Gangan series so those are already loosely categorized)
