Honestly I am a bigger fan of the changes done to the story of the first game, both by how unexpected they were and how such changes expanded the bigger story.

In general, the way the story of the second game was told in the manga felt way safer, even with the changes, which didn't add much and I think some things were lost in the transition, giving so little time to Hanna and Jihl's roles in the story made it fell weaker to the game's in my opinion, maybe it has something to do with the limitations of adapting a story that's not over yet, while still having to keep up with the releases.

Speaking of which, I am extremely excited for the third game, easily my most anticipated game of the year. Thank you for translating the manga, I'm also looking forward to how the manga will adapt the final chapter of Fuga.

Older brother? I thought he was the oldest. Was everything a lie? I can't believe in anything anymore I have been traumatized and I will never recover from this.

Once I finished translating the final fight with Cayenne I realized that Vanilla didn't have a single line of dialogue for the entirety of volume 10. She just passes out at the end of volume 9 and we don't hear a word from her after despite her having the closest relationship with the main villan. Not to mention her biggest scene being cut from the Belenos fight in volume 9.

At least my GOAT Britz got another final boss fight volume cover.

I loved how Cayenne was revealed in the manga but he basically lost all of his charm from the game during the final confrontation with the Vanargand. Him maintaining full composure while going off about the divine providence of his revenge was the best part of that fight. Not to mention his conversation with Hax.
