i am still harboring resentment over the fact that kuro doesn't get any treatment offered, yet deleting his sisters existence is considered as an act of mercy.
his suffering is nullified and not acknowledged. makes the story all the more tragic.

I totally forgot about this manga. It's been years since I read the last chapter. I have no clue what's going on. 😅

Thanks for picking this up.

Well this is a surprise, but a welcomed one. Altho I don't remember much of the story. Guess I'll re read later. Thanks!

I doubt they have universal healthcare in the kingdom. Towa was just lucky, in a manner of speaking, that she happened to encounter someone whose powers would allow her to become a more or less functional human. I reckon Kuro could also be made to forget stuff, since he now knows Erufi, but he's not interested in losing his memories. He actually needs those memories to stay sane, considering the drawback of the Black colour power. Beyond that, I doubt there's much in the way of mental healthcare available. He seems to be doing okay, anyway, despite relying on a sanity eroding power. It's a harsh world, not a paradise.

he suffered a different hell than his sister, spending his years after her death becoming a serial killer consumed by the emptiness her absence caused and killed himself after torturing his sister's killers.
i think the claim that he is sane doesnt do his character justice.
after going through these predicaments, people would act mentally wounded, not necessarily like the sister, but certainly not steady.
besides, the mind wipe treatment is right in front of him. not offering him the same option is rather neglectful, especially considering he is a ticking timebomb.

I'm merely judging him by what we see happening in the series. He's doing okay, at least when the mind pollution isn't getting too high. He shows empathy toward the suffering, he can appreciate friendship, doesn't abuse substances, he didn't go bonkers when he found out his sister's current condition; instead he decided to play along, as long as Towa herself seemed to be doing relatively okay, considering the circumstances. Kuro is doing much better than some other characters. His only clear sign of insanity was his desire to kill himself because of his misplaced guilt. But he seems to have got over that and is now working for a better tomorrow like any random person.
