...There's a helluva lot of stuff I feel could be said here about how they're raising a second generation of child soldiers. I wonder if this incarnation of the series even has the depth to recognise that that's a thing it's setting itself up to do, let alone consider any of the implications (especially given that the adapting artist said they thought the main point of the series was "pretty ladies" in the omake of the first chapter >.>; )
(I realise right now they're all supposedly explicitly not soldiers and all, but you know that kid's going to end up in battle somehow before the series is over)
