I really love the way it painted the whole picture of the story. It first frames Van Hohenheim as the father who left for an unspoken reason. That for me sounds like he might have been the real bad guy or involved with it.
Seeing how the "father" of the seven deadly sins looks so close to him as if he was his twin. It was enough to set my mind thinking these two are brothers that did something evil together (which they actually did) but Van Hohenheim is set for redemption for his past actions instead.
