felt like i just had to mention this--use significant figures when converting units!!
yees 1 quarter pint is ~142.07 mL, but ~140 mL would be a much cleaner number.
personal opinion. pet peeve.
also, a really heavy first chapter...and also a lot more interesting than I expected. if this is well researched (which it appears to be. who knows), this could be a new favorite of mine.
i suppose the 16 volumes is a good sign.
