Now two questions needs to be asked: Was the biker June saw that day really Haikawa? The scar on the biker's face is identical to his, but I'm not so sure they are one and the same. It feels like a case of mistaken identity is being set up here. And if he is, why did he abandon him while choosing to raise several other kids that were not his own?

Knowing this author either case is equally possible imo
B1's almost childish faith in his father's innocence proved to be correct, but it's also shown that his dad was still kind of a shitty person and not the paragon B1 built up in his head.
This character's motivation is reminding me a lot of that plotline.
