Sure, you should try to do your best at whatever you're doing, but in this case, they’re actively undermining her abilities and her job, not letting her show what she’s really capable of (and it’s most likely because she’s a woman, not because of her actual talent)
Plus, the whole credit-stealing thing, even if it’s supposedly “low quality” was a really asshole move
