...I'm starting to wonder whether his mom and aunt knew what they were signing him up for when they sent him here. And if so, I'm starting to wonder what the hell they were thinking when they did it.
Like, I don't say that judgmentally. There's clearly a lot of stuff we don't know. But it's a bit odd to say it was the "well, grandma has the resources to take care of him" situation we would have initially guessed it was, given that they're literally fending off starvation on a daily basis.
