I swear that masked chuuni Yamada always irks me. Being deluded is already bad enough, being stupid as well exponentially increases how annoying that (presumably) kid is.

Not just Chuuni, that guy is murderer. He doesn't hesitate to kill innocent people.
He has gotten in the way of MC many times, and it is annoying as hell. He's not like team rocket either, where although they get annoying, it doesn't get in the way. This guy gets in the way too many times that it is annoying. He will also never die, because author will never make MC kill him or anyone.

Most of the charm of this story is enjoying the interactions between the characters....

We need an antagonist, a Generic like "Demon King" or "Evil God"

It never needed an antagonist... it worked as a slice of life.... the conflict actually gets in the way of the story rather than adding to it....
