HOW IS BARELY ANYBODY COMMENTING UNDER CHAPTER LIKE THAT? What in the eldritch horror, what in the weird gods of pagan religions happened there? I theorised all those chapters ago, that it could've been an entity, not necessarily a machine/construction. Looks like I was right about that (although it can still be a contraption powered with Jinki or... a hundred of them?). That was a terrifying sight, especially after the open sky Noerde loved so much. This sense of wonder and fulfillment being broken nearly immediately by THE WATCHMAN!

1. Alright, so let's go with the obvious - it has the same 3 circles pattern on it's face. THREE EYES, that is. Cross-shaped head too, which is why I'm obviously thinking about something religious here. This might be what Heavens (the "better" part of it) worships or at least what the Angels care for. No matter if it's man-made or an actual creature, it really DOES stop and turn away people from below (Pit = Hell = sin etc.) before reaching Heavens. That is something a god could do or be needed for.

2. Now, since the symbol on the Watchman series is the same and Noerde also called it a Watchman, I'm going with this name too for the time being. I wonder now, what is the Watchman Series for? Are you supposed to be able to pass through the barrier, when you have them? Do you need a full set to do so? Was it made by someone disgusted by "the system", who wanted to topple it over? Is the Watchman Series meant to disrupt balance and destroy the Watchman himself?

3. Maybe it's the other way around - items being made with god's (Watchman) favor, gifts "from" him, distributed by the Angels for some higher purpose. Part of the cult, that is, whatever they believe in. Maybe we can go farther with christian mythos here - maybe Watchman Series is meant to be found be it's apostles, to gather them together in the end? Maybe we can have an ultimate team-up despite current differences after all? Maybe the boots will still be fine, even after this beast stops.

4. What exactly happened to Noerde? It's a bit scarier, when we only have some brief, panicked explainations from her, but did it destroy her Jinki? Took her memories maybe? At the least the ones she really cared for? Is she now just a husk with amnesia for example? Is she dead and no soul is left inside her? That effect of reversing black and white was terrifying even. How sudden and silent it was, barely even noticed by Rudo.

5. Seems like Noerde loved Zodyl in her own way or at least she looked at him differently, when he noticed beauty in her, despite her brash and aggressive attitude. I wonder if he had any idea what would've happened to Noerde. I wonder if he feels anything for people lost on his path. Even if he does, I'm sure he shoves it away, until he reaches his goal, but I'd like to know at the very least.

6. And here we go - kaijuu-head doing what every kaijuu-head does - turning into a giant monster. You might've not known, that's something all of them can do at least once a week! In all seriousness though, this seems unlike any Jinki we've seen before xD I might have to take my words from before back - Guita might be the powerhouse of that team, not Dia. Also - is Jinki's name also Guita? Or maybe Guita is NOT a Guita after all and she goes by her Jinki's name for some reason? OR maybe, since she herself becomes a kaijuu, that's why she gave her name to her Jinki. Last one seems to be the case tbh.
