What an action movie sequence xD Loved it. A bit of levity and pure fun after a lot of plot-moving, insane shenanigans. I wonder what's the importance of that pendant. Never thought it would be important at all, but the way they panelled it all in this chapter and Zodyl's dialogue with Bundus made me rethink that.
It might be a way for Rudo to learn more about Zodyl. Actually, if this pendant indeed have some protective qulities... can this be a way for Zodyl to help Cleaners survive? Far-fetched, I know, but at the very least he IS pragmatic and might think that he needs Cleaners too, in his plan. That them being alive is better than them dying. It would've also recontextualised him leaving Fu and Noerde alone.
And yes, Amo's Jinki survived! We're about to see that I'm right and she's alright and safe, better than we've left her! I wonder though - are we giving the boots back to her? Will Rudo keep them? It was an important item to her, I know, but it's also something she might not need at all anymore. She needs care and therapy, not her rapist's shoes to put on.
