Alright, this chapter made me believe that "Gachiakuta" can go for pretty much as long, as Urana-sensei wants it to. What a great way to reshuffle every deck, before we get something new.
1. There don't seem to be any feelings left in Zodyl. Everything is about a goal or experiment, even people he met years earlier. The only way out of this, if we are to ever think otherwise - show us that it's HIM who convinces himself to only think of everyone as experiments. If not, he might just as well be a sociopath.
2. Looks like we're getting 8 Vandals aside from Bundus, 2 of which we know already - Jabber and Cthoni. That leaves 6 more people strong enough to not be trainees in Zodyl's eyes. It's going to get more brutal from now on. Not only due to a hunt for another piece of the Watchman Series, but also because Vandals did not plan on eliminating the Cleaners at all this last arc. Who knows what are they capable of.
3. Hyou is back! Zanka Arc incoming? Redemption, ascension, development? They way Urana-sensei used the panels, I'm not sure if the group right after Hyou are the Hell's Guardians. If so, she's probably with them there and LOOK AT THOSE EYEBROWS. Zanka's big sister/brother reveal soon? Gimme!
4. Is Noerde dead or not? Logically, she should be dead after falling from this high, but we gotta remember, that people sent to the Pit also somehow survive the fall. Maybe due to the Watchman's influence? We're going to see eventually. If Noerde is alive, we could learn what did the Watchman do to her exactly. And she could find her place among Hell's Guardians too. She wouldn't be the first female outsider joining the organisation and proving her worth
5. I guess Cleaners' teams are going to truly join together to fight off the Vandals. Me gusta! I like Tamzy (even though he's sus, every time we get a close-up of his eyes) and Delmon has to make amends for the last time he's seen some action.
6. Overall I'm happy with this arc. It had some stellar panelling, as always and made great leaps in Zanka's and Riyo's character arcs. Zodyl definitely was a highlight here - it's rare to see this level of attention and care given to a villain, without any fights. We also got to see some truly groundbreaking reveals and we now have enough lore and plot directions to continue for the next few years. I think it's an easy 7+/10, maybe a weak 8/10 kind of arc.
