I can't be the only one who thinks it's kinda weird they refer to someone's social status/class as 'race'. That said, referring to it as 'class' could be confusing, since class can also mean their 'job' or a school class. Even 'rank' could be muddled up with level or guild rank etc.
I don't have a good answer for this.
