Usually they only get send there if they are dieing, but still barely alive during the call. Is why we usually saw their dieing thoughts and how there have been 2 Keis as she didnt die during the suicide attempt.

Though this series has not been exactly consistent, especially this spinoff with the bad pacing.

Bit sad since the series has really big potential for spinoffs, if they wouldnt try to 1 up the original and just went with a much slower progress that is disconnected from the OG and more teamwork based.

Ngl it's getting interesting now. I like the off-missions drama. Let's hope they won't drag too much in missions like the previous one with so many boss phases.

The first chapter since a long time that really made me excited.
I hope the next Alien isn't a recycled one from the OG Gantz but something new entirely. I think the series is at it's best when there's a mysterious new alien and we have no clue what's the deal with them.
