Pretty good.
It’s grounded well. It’s kinda basic in format. Standard shakaijin stuff, clearly structured to get things tied up in one volume, no notable side characters etc.
But within that framework it’s really good.

the comedic aspect is relatively nice but honestly, Katagiri is an embodiment of all the male gender stereotypes. Walking toxic masculinity. haha. I am starting to think (or at least hope) it was author´s intention - to somewhat ironically exaggerate these types of clichés in yaoi manga (strong gendered roles - male ones for seme, female ones for uke etc.) . In this sense, it is nicely done - Katagiri guy is rather an unpleasant existence. And mc´s reactions are in the frame of many women -he might be a bore but he loves me, i will change him, i don´t know how to say no, i am not strong enough to refuse him, being drunk and coerced to sex, etc. etc.
If the perceived irony is unintentional and this is supposed to be acceptable behaviour (sexual harassment in workplace, disregard for date-rape etc.), then I am really at loss.
I am against ignoring or tabooing the less pleasant aspects of relationships - they do exist an can be so beautifully done (of the top of my head Saezuru tori... ). However if it´s done without any thinking, the outcome is at least cheap and unpleasant. I know loads of yaoi manga are just for cheap thrills (porn basically) but still that shouldn´t mean the quality has to be so low. And with this particular story, even this stamp will not save it - as a porn, it is boring and really unsatisfactory - the sexual scenes are nothing to talk about, the art likewise.
I hope it was intentional. If so, the story could turn into something more interesting than just a flat and crude stereotypical yaoi flic. If nothing else, at least a contribution to the gender discussion. If not, then it starts to happily walk towards the land of trash - in my book at least.
