I'm gonna say the obvious and predictable, guy(?) in the tube is either part of a secret conspiracy that controls the world behinds the scenes, or he's actually the person who caused the apocalypse long ago and is trying to properly come back to life.

I suspect it's the latter and that Isana sister, who I forget the name, is destroying cities to try kill him, she and whoever she's working with is being so extreme because they have no choice, since if he gets better he will destroy the world again.

Not gonna lie, I hope the villain is a woman, it's almost always a man lol

Also, surprised the tribe girls have face, honestly suspected their face would be inhuman in some way.

Been really enjoying Hime's development, but the chapter couldn't just end with them getting a new clue for finding Isana's sister. Now we got a megalomaniac to worry about beside already established end of the world, the library, the merchants, mono-whatever-monsters, dark and gruesome past, the chosen sister. Did I miss anyone else?

Makes me wonder how all these things will tie together in the future.

I would kinda say fuck the idiots in her home village, but it sounds like they are probably already dead. Which is honestly friggin terrible.

These people are all just terrible, and I have no idea how the girls in this story are just innocent, and happy-go-lucky, and pure when they literally live in a world that prevents that from happening.
Not to be super graphic, but it's like seeing somebody get decked, complete with broken nose and missing teeth, and they respond by saying "bless you," or saying "excuse me."
Almost as if they (the pure ones) somehow spent 15-20 years without ever interacting with any other humans... yet somehow are able to function as if they have.

I guess it's just really shitty writing; because, if kidnapping, travel restrictions, and physical restraint of free will are all "normal" things in this world, the people living in said world would either be on guard or consider those things "normal."
... But Isana and the others act like it's abnormal and strange, all while reacting as if somebody misplaced their car keys!

The disconnect of this action/response value is absolutely just throwing me for a fuckin loop...
