I really like the world-building, but I wonder if the pacing is bit too fast.
This chapter infodumped a bit on us. Feels like it might be better to drip-feed that information. But it could be the author has so much lore for us that infodumping is necessary. It almost feels like a LN adaptation with all this background information.
Another part of the pacing that feels fast is the relationship between Isana and Hime. They haven't had that many interactions, so when Hime says and does things showing how attached she is to Isana, I'm not entirely sold on it.
I think the author should've spent a chapter or 2 on them traveling to the city. I'm pretty sure it was mentioned it took several days to get there but they fast traveled almost instantly with only meeting that merchant girl in between.
