I love that Matsuo isn't upset at Tsusumi for losing. He understands more than anyone that shit just sometimes happens, and he doesn't blame his student for that.

Warrior mentality be damned. This is the modern world, and we don't have to fight to the death anymore, and I'm happy that Matsuo doesn't blame Tsusumi for not being constantly on edge

Agreed it also seems Matsuo cherishes Jyohei quite a bit he always speaks highly of him but then again Tsutsumi Jyohei get's respect from pretty much all the fighters he faced so far one of my favorite characters in manga.
