Why even bother proving himself to his family, they are clearly not worth it and he's already impressed way more influential people.

I'm more curious as to why he never bothered to tame any monsters before the big ass wolf? Is it just the very popular trope of wanting to have a fenrir like companion first? If his stats go up with every monster he tames he could have been boosting his abilities with smaller monsters before going for the giant wolf. Then again, it'd also goes against the whole "rule of cool" that manga like to use.

As much as I hate this idiot father, his logic isn’t entirely wrong. It certainly makes more sense that his two sons Who have actually received training are more capable of taking down a strong monster then his son who has received no training. Heck, mc even said they probably would’ve won if they just kept their cool.

I’m seeing three possibilities here. One is that there are a limit the number of monsters he can tame. Two is that the forest is just fundamentally dangerous and while he could’ve probably beaten some weaker monsters, he would have been helpless if a stronger one attacked. And three is that he was more focused on the fundamentals. It’s definitely better to be skilled before you become strong or you end up, relying too much on the strength.

I want one of two things to happen: 1) He thoroughly beats the crap out of them both or 2) He just summons the garlewolf to do the job lol

I hope he beat the twins so hard they’re traumatized. Been a while since i’ve seen an MC beat a baddie so hard they shit their pants at the prospect of meeting the MC again.

Too short. The chapter should've ended with the result of the duel, smh.

Wait remind me again? Is lest biological son of that piece of shit? Or adopted? If adopted i might able to teeny tiny bit tryna comprehend why that father and mother doesnt have a single shred of care in lest.

I mean the parents hatred is so damn extreme. If we taking the parents personality into account they might be just happy since they obviously focused on boosting the family name.

If he summons the wolf, that doesn't prove anything about how strong he is, merely that he tamed a monster that they already claim he took advantage of them to defeat. By hiding that he did so and beating the shit out if them personally, he shows he actually is strong.

If I were in the MC's shoes, I would have put a few conditions to avoid the typical outcome:

1. If I win with honor, with skill, and/or with whatever you don't understand, I don't want to hear someone screaming like a loser saying: "oh, Lest diffnetly cheated and the usual crap".
2. To father, cut the crap, be a man and stop your nonsense.
