It's certainly weird that the protagonists never got to learn what really happened to Aiba, only we readers do, and it never comes up again.

thanks for the translation. This series continues to be an entertaining read. Especially the character interactions even in the mundane feel special like when she met the toei team. Hopefully she truly isn't the offender or at least if she is she isn't caught.
