I've seen a lot of people say the start was disorienting, but you're the first person I've seen point this out and I agree. We're thrusted into this world the same way he is, how turbulent and uninformed it feels is a reflection of his situation, even if the information we're lacking is different to what Harima is lacking. What a stunning intro. The confusing paneling at the start normalizing as mc slowly regains his bearings and the jumping between present and past as the gaps in memory slowly get filled was just fantastic. This alongside the expected interesting and dynamic art and unique scenario will undoubtably lead to an interesting series.
