a mascot i can understand but even if you need reading glasses, i wouldn't associate baseball player (or any athlete, really) with glasses since that'd be bad on the field versus sports goggles or contacts

(although even with a shoulder injury i feel like it's riskier to be a hitter if you get smashed in the face with the ball versus pitching lol)
