Well, at least the first line doesn't start with "Why do you think people getting married?" or feature sentences like "Then he finally go to grandma..."
Thoughts on language:
This translation is definitely more verbose and flowery (yet to decide if that is good or bad), especially in worldbuilding narration. I'm going to assume that the JNC one is more correct on facts at least, like "queen" instead of the "princess" LHT used. I think I like LHT's conciseness marginally better, but the verbosity really helps in cases like where LHT used "Unexpected reaction!" King kowtowing "That's what I thought..." which is a bit ambiguous even with the picture.
Thoughts on typesetting:
The JNC font is a bit worse for readability, but probably more fitting to the art style and thematic setting (also just a classic comic font). Would prefer LHT if they didn't have to do a poor job at centering certain text, or choosing to center to occluded box vs to area. Or butchering that last paragraph with the least legible English font possible.
Final decision:
All in all, both sides have strengths. I'm leaning towards JNC for the time being and may move to LHT if they improve in later chapters. That said, having JNC as a backup is great, since LHT are notorious for sudden drops in QC standards for no apparent reason.
