And strangely, no one else wants him killed.Wow, paranoid nobles really want the kill the guy that just saved them from interdimensional war.
Fearing that someday said guy might destroy the world himself for any reason (Converted to dark side, mind controlled, simply had a bad day, etc) is natural.Wow, paranoid nobles really want the kill the guy that just saved them from interdimensional war.

Often visions of the future are self fulfilling prophecies. Someone who may be labeled as "the enemy who destroys the nation/world" would have otherwise been just a normal person, if not for everyone trying to kill them to prevent the destruction. Thanks for the new chapter!
The Bunny Court Mage is not only cute but he is also a sensibly kind person. 🥰
Anyway, it's funny that you would want to kill someone who is OP enough to save your country just because he is OP (apart from the fact that he is suspected to be a Child of Disaster). Antagonizing power-wielders is a recipe for 'disaster' rather you should establish good relations with such parties especially if you don't know how much power they wield (in some stories this is how a Maou/Demon Lord is born). Imagine this Evegne guy trying to rush Reiji without knowing how disastrous his potentials may be (and they saw him take down enemies and monsters which the knight armies can't even come close).
Yeah - and sometimes, the moment they do get to kill that person, is when the actually disaster happens. It's such ironies that make such tragedies develop oh so predictable. But yeah, Reiji is technically creating an imbalance by 'collecting' all skills he can come across to. While he is not hoarding the orbs, he is actually slowly amassing all skills from both worlds so that might be problematic in some way (but everyone else doesn't know that yet)Often visions of the future are self fulfilling prophecies. Otherwise fear of those with unbound power is extremely natural. If you don't know whether they will use the power against you, or what may set them off, or where their politics lie, it is natural to be afraid of them.
Doesn't make it right, though.
