I’m surprised that this kind of shit wasn’t cut from the editor. Though that does speak to the culture. I had been meaning to catch up but after reading about stuff that happens I’m happy I didn’t.

Did they completely stop production or just the official eng ver?
From the description
Note: After the publication of ch. 125, the manhwa was suspended indefinitely and ch. 125 was removed while the official English translation was completely taken down.

What a lame reason to get canceled. This is literally the first chapter of an arc about combating racism with this guy and you don't even know where the story is gonna go from here, yet one small part in this chapter got people so outraged and shaking and having panic attacks that they don't wanna see any potential justifications or even a single chapter more XD
Author should've never wandered into racial themes I guess, people are too emotional to even be able to last an hour without collapsing from the emotional damage that a single censored word caused.
Hoping this continues tho I wanna see what bro's motives are, I'm thinking he just wanted to give the guy a "taste of his own medicine", or he could very well just be depicted as actually racist and it'll be talked about in the story.

I can’t read Korean, but I just visited the naver page for this webtoon and saw that a “new” chapter 125 there was released on 28/1/2024, while the newest chapter 126 was released on 4/2/2024. Is this continuing now or something?

This manwha getting canceled is some bullshit, I guess that's what you can expect from webtoon, who keep pushing nonsensical garbage with 'they/them' protags despite nobody reading them.
wait can u tell me more about this.? i havent read this manhwa since ch 40. i wanted to know more before i continue lol

Basically this manwha had started an arc based around the fact that many small rural towns in Korea have been 'repopulated' by immigrants, with some schools even being a majority of mixed kids, leading to the fully Korean students to be bullied and regularly called slurs, especially since the mixed kids are on average much taller and bigger than their fully korean peers.

So when the teacher showed up and called the leading bully a slur back, americans on webtoons lost their minds and had a meltdown until the arc was removed and the manhwa taken off english webtoon entirely.

Then it was put on hiatus for a while, with no plan of ever coming back to the english version of webtoon and then came back with a new unrelated arc instead.

It's to be noted that no such meltdown happened on other versions of webtoon such as the french one so the americans really ruined a whole arc for everyone despite not even getting / wanting the manhwa back.

so this whole shitshow is simply an "american moment" lmao. and i agree its also funnier when other races were called names and slur is fine, but the second the protagonist called the 13% people something everyone lose their mind lol. Thanks for the explanation fam

I'm a bit late but I'm gonna post it anyway:
Everyone was fine with episode 124 cause it's ok when a black character is racist, but episode 125 is where they drew the line. If you payed you enough attention you would notice the only people that had problem with it were losers that never actually read the whole series. Only the real fans of Get Schooled would know what Yongtaek Chae's writing is like and where the story would have went. But now cause of the outrage gen losers and MSM we would never know how the story would have went.

They completely missed that several of the bad guys of previous arcs came back as helpers after changing their ways too.

It's obvious the lesson would have been 'See? Being discriminated against sucks, stop using your big build and other people with your skin color's suffering to discriminate against others'.

At the end of the day Get Schooled is as much about revenge as it is about reforming people. Even the SJW feminist Teacher changed her ways and she was an adult.
