This would be all well and good, but he extends it *only* to the players, and the players alone. Not afraid of ostracizing other fans if he doesn't approve, and confronting the staff on his own (limited) pov of things.

Still doesn't excuse him from being a dick though.

He doesn't believe in anyone but the players and doesn't realize that Tatsumi and Kasano are the big hitters in trying to make ETU shine.

At least we can understand where they are coming from. I think that's reason enough to be lenient with them. It's not like doing the same thing to them is any good for either party.
