There must be more laymen who lost money or didn't make any profit than those who made it big, in the whole crypto scheme.
Youtubers don't start making money immediately. Even if you are really good, it would take time to gather subscribers and views. Plus it can be really hard work, depending on what exactly you use as content. Even if you were a cute girl aiming for suckers' money just by casually streaming gameplay or reacting to stuff (that is, minimum effort), just how much competition is there already for those same suckers, huh? In such a "market", the suckers can be selective as well.
The MC dude is a dead fish, but I'm a little bit looking forward to knowing why the FMC wants to be independent fast and doesn't want to rely on anyone. She must have her own story. Unfortunately that's the only thing of interest in this whole series.
