Clearly the author has never smoked in their life. If you light a smoke, and a cigar at that; with a candle then you're gonna taste wax all the way through. Not to mention he pulled a cigar out of a cigar box and not a humidor.
I use a butane lighter for a stick of spanish cedar and light my Avo classics with it. Now that's a flavorful smoke.
