True, those covers need to be resistant to damage because they're mounted on the arms unlike in real life which only have disposable covers to protect it from weather/dust/etc.

Well, if that panel got some function like Fin-stabilized, it's worth to change it everytime. If it's only for opening, yeah that will be useless
