The strongest case is with Yura, which proof that the kins would obey explicit order. And well, they did enjoy the feeling of getting their blood sucked.

Problem is with other part, such as “loyalty to master” that can be very loosely and individually interpreted. The magic probably can’t just create loyalty out of nothing.
Yura’s seems to be latching on to “she helps me get close with Wakana again”, so despite the annoyance she usually reacts like “oh well, I can still let it go/get along with this idiot’s game”. Not complete obedience, but she would gear to side with the team than with other people without thinking.

None other than Ruruna believing them to be so (and we already know that she is glaringly uneducated in... anything, really), and Yura being unable to move and seemingly having to obey Ruruna's commands after being "turned", which I am almost convinced was mostly a mixture of her body acting up after a blood loss and her just going along with what was being said because Wakana told her to do so, plus her being in shock.

I bet the missing step is that to make someone your kin, they have to drink your blood in turn, classic Dracula style.
