This chapter caught me off guard with how sincerely the awkward romance parts were handled. From the early chapters, you wouldn't expect the author to have any ability to draw this sort of scene at all, but here we are!
Meanwhile, the idiot trio are stuffed into the locker, lol.
I think if it was just the wacky gags I wouldn't keep reading, but it's the slight hints of romance that peek through all the bizarre shenanigans that make it work for me. And based on the author's future series, he eventually gets more into drama and leaves the funny faces behind.
