The rate of encounters with people who want to cripple/kill him is alarmingly high. I hope the area he's training in has a good exp rate.

With the way that Murder World works I am amazed there are any surviving children on the whole planet. You can't even hide in a cave in the mountains without murderers finding you. The super anarchy the writer made the world impossible for anyone to survive in.

Again, one of the biggest issues with wuxias is character writing - and by extension, world development. Since the stories basically revolve around the MC to make him look better, most of the misc. side-show characters are left in the dust (either as one-note villains, harem members, or straight up NPCs, which is mostly the case for the "surviving children", as you said). Sometimes you get decent characters like Han Man, but even then the entire trial to save him was a way of making MC stronger primarily, and saving Han Man secondly lol
