I didn't read the English title before commenting. But there's no harem tag so Ima stick around for a while. If you know whether it goes that route don't hesitate to spoil me. Definitely not mad about the childhood friend who's obviously gonna lose/end up in rev harem.

Edit: So far into the story, it doesn't look like it'll become harem and the relationship between the FL and childhood friend cum personal gaurd is purely platonic. If it stays that way then it's gonna be fine.

Edit2: This one is actually very good. My qualms with historical fantasy manga is that there's always an ass romance to ruin the plot or if the romance is good, then rest of it just doesn't make much sense. This one is quite balanced from what it seems.

Alright this is actually a good read so far.
I can see where you’re coming from. I hope it doesn’t go that way.
Hard to find anything with romance that seems to be about a woman and not go the way you’ve mentioned it.
