Considering there’s no romance tag, it does seem like overcompensating but not like it’s a harem series
Tho I guess it doesn’t get tagged as romance when it’s one sided crushes or just flirting? Either way other than him getting more settled down in the end there’s not rly a need for a relationship right now

I just think it's distracting. Having one girl crushing is enough to convey he's an attractive figure, but we're juggling multiple characters liking and flirting with him. Especially since this isn't tagged a romance. And these girls aren't background characters either.

It doesn’t bother me too much , tho they’re usually presented as stoic to it if not oblivious lol , maybe it’s a Korean quirk , but I guess since they don’t “commit” flirting is just something that’ll happen as a part of life
Altho “dense MCs” for JP manga too, I saw one Korean WEBTOON where one charas inner thoughts were straight up said “men and women can never be just friends” so hopefully that’s not too reflective of actual Korean culture bc that’d be a pain (esp if ur gay dealing with comphet but that’s a whole nother issue)
It would be interesting if he was invited to a wedding at some point if not a friend who’s been married for a few years having him design a home for them as like an anniversary gift or something lol

I would straight up drop the series if it goes "men and women can't be friends." I can accept it in a hentai doujin since that's just an excuse for the plot to happen, but in an actual drama series meant to reflect IRL? That just gives me red flags.

That series was more of a rom com but it did have ppl being platonic friends as well as an “ex love rival” being her friend too, there is a current arc like that again in Daily Jojo with some friends and one of them developing a crush but it is more of a playful thing rather than like “well that’s just how Korea is” but this particular series is focused on his career so it’s fine, I think miracle massage therapist does have a romance but it’s not too intrusively annoying
But yeah that’d be exhausting if part of the culture bc other than some red flag controlling partner that’d be an issue If gossip spread between you and someone If you seemed “too close” to a coworker or fellow parent or so , since I imagine you’d pretty much have to befriend your kids friends parents or be on semi decent terms with them, but it does get annoying when ur younger and ppl harmlessly? Tease about two tweens potentially dating, must be worse for closeted ppl but that’s a whole nother convo/headache as well
