I'm usually one to like "bad" artstyles that supports the horror story that's being told, but this one's leaning too much on the disgusting side. There's no rhythm to it at all, just "if x character appears make everyone look disgusting".

And the sexual violence is there just for the sake of being there, as if the character was written as an edgy teenager's OC. Not to mention that the storytelling is done almost exactly like how B-movies do thrillers.

I forgot about this manga and was excited to see it get updated with more recent english translations.

unfortunately I also heard that apparently this series had gotten axed, or cancelled (due to controversy)?

Even if I didn't properly read the text (I skimmed it), I think the rest of the chapters were interesting, but typical and stock standard.

introduce the other characters, brief backstory, die, etc.

However, the villain backstory was kinda mid imo.
Maybe it's just my villain type preference or I went into this story with the wrong expectations for this kind of story premise.

I don't know if it was due to the author being made to do a rush ending but for stories that end their story with a total of about 20 - 30 chapters

I feel that Kami-sama no Iutoori or Ousama Game series did far much better.

I suppose this manga was more about the "mystery" than the main family, since I felt that there wasn't much of an attempt to develop reader attachment towards our main "heroes".

I know this is trigger manga but this was disgusting, even for me.
I'll have to read some juujika to cleanse my palate now.
