No that actually makes a lot of sense, entitled egomaniacs would never give a single shit about him, they live believing they're owed it. Beside in chapter 1 they definitely showed that low rank healer girl for a reason, and even that Ganache guy(?) seems ok, maybe not nice but didn't seem to be antagonistic.

Why does this Tim character suddenly care about what happens to the guild-master lady?

As long as those guys make sure to kick him in the face, he will simply tell them thank you for the privilege of face planting himself on their boot; if that dude didn't try to get revenge within hours or days of the first time they did that, he will never try and get anything from them... other than more abuse.

That's how humans work; even the ones who then take a, uh, "magic wand" to their school/workplace and seek redress of grievances in a far more direct fashion (insert "pumped-up kicks," here)... even those are almost entirely NOT abused bullying victims, but fucking sociopaths hoping for cool kid points.

Humans either fight back immediately... or not at all.
