Thank God Jurgen is dead. No redemption arc. He's always been an idiot.

To quote Stan Marsh when Kenny died for the millionth time: "Well who didn't see that coming?" lol. Jurgy boy could have been a lot better of a character if he was developed more towards the beginning of the series. Feels like the author saw the potential for him but realized it was too late to do anything about it, and wrapped his story up as best he could. Was never a fan of the romance between him and Helmut, felt really under cooked, and while it might not have been the author's intent, Jurgan did come off way too preachy and pushy in regards to their interactions. Rip to the dude tho he stuck by his ideals as much as Helmut is, sucks to see him go.

Man the comments section here is so stupid. This is a morally grey situation and each character is basically just doing what feels best for them. Jurgen isn't really a "traitor", he's fighting on the side of his own father and the first prince. This is a civil war, it's not really a situation where "good" and "bad" are absolute. Moreover, Jurgen still tried to make sure his friends survived. That was literally his only goal here. He tried to end the war with as few deaths as possible. Helmut is the one who killed her own father and is basically fighting solely for her own military ambitions. Of course there are valid reasons to support the second prince, but a lot of people here seem to be outright ignoring the nuance of the situation.
