That asshole! how will Ao kill someone if he's handcuffed to the bed in the hospital?
The only feasible way I can think is if the blonde girl kills herself in order to help Ao and then Ao gets counted as the "cause" of her death , but then would he timeloop with the handcuff still attached? well as long as he can convince the hospital or police to undo his handcuffs before timeloop is up, and before mitsushima arrives at the hospital, then he can kill someone and timeloop again.
The tricky thing is that even when ao timeloops, mitsushima very close to Akane, and ao doesn't know that , so he'll probably have to timeloop a couple of times to find someone to kill near enough to where Akane is in order to get to Akane before mitsushima, and in doing that he might encounter mitsushima.
Plus he's likely to be in a weakened state in the several minutes after timelooping.
I guess it depends how close mitsushima is to Akane.
Also, when mitsushima checks if ao has been arrested and the corpse turns up without Ao then Mitsuhima will realise that his plan has failed, at that point he won't know how many times Ao has timelooped . at that point, since time loop is such a powerful weapon, and since mistushima won't have time to arrange another trap for Ao, he might decide that taking Akane hostage to lure Ao will be safer for him .
Mitsushima doesn;'t know that Ao is reaching the limit of how many times he can timeloop afaik , so from mitsushima's perspective, especially once mitsushima realises that Ao knows that mitsushima knows Ao can timeloop, that means Ao will become much more cautious about the timeloop power, and mitsushima will potentially have to fight an Ao who has gone through each day 5 or 10 times and knows far more than him.
I still think that mitsushima is more confident than that so it's more likely he won't become too cautious after Ao escapes the trap and will continue trying to kill Akane and think about how to get rid of Ao later.
Also, I wonder if Ao will pass out every time after using hte timeloop from now on? I assume not since otherwise it won;'t be that useful. maybe after passing out like this he can now get away with a couple of timeloops before he passes out again.
