thanks for the chapter ! that's interesting that they're bringing characters from the first story back so that they suspect timeloop shenanigans.

Also it seems weird that Mizushima and his goons are so nearby , even if he put a tracker on them.
If you're mizushima in this situation and not only do you get a call revealing that your trap for Ao failed, but also one of the guys you brought has suddenly disappeared, at that point you'd probably start shitting bricks right? Because that means not only has Ao broken out of your trap but he's also been able to kill your guys. Which means whatever backup plan you think you have to capture Ao and Akane and only give them a few minutes to prepare isn't good enough.
Still I guess you probably won't have a better chance to trap Ao and Akane than now since Ao probably won't fall for this kind of trick twice. and normally Ao gets many hours to prepare when he loops but this time looping only buys him a few minutes to prepare.
I wonder how far the detective is prepared to go too. I might be forgetting something but is he being blackmailed into collaborating by mizushima or is he only doing it because mizushima is offering to give him money and the detective wants money so that he can see his daughter and act rich? If it's the latter then it's a really dumb decision lol
