Mahou Sensei Negima, an entire class of different archetypes and story arcs cause the publishers wanted another harem manga and Akamatsu sensei was like, "No imma draw shounen battle manga"

I don't think it's the girl variations, just that the punchline is a girl sucks him off and drinks his baby batter or gets off using him that's stale. Doesn't help that the main "conflict" of what Nekogami sensei thinks of him is mostly resolved.

I think another big issue is that the harem here rarely inteacts with each other. We had like, 2 3some chapters in 60 chapters? 2.5 if you count the two teachers, but gyaru sa\en only stripped MC.

It's a tad too episodic, and all the girls without that interaction make progress super slow, even for a harem manga that is used to blueballing audiences. It's just girl of the week at this point until MC inevitably confesses to obvious winner in the end.

Agreed, harem mangas work best when there's that underlying tension and drama from all the girls over who gets chosen, along with the "who confesses first" race.

MC's not even aware of his classmate's feelings even though she's guzzled him enough times to be marinating in it. Applies to Ikemen JK too.
