Fair, I was thinking no way he's not used to ppl trying to kill him, but at the same time, he has been untouchable. I just hope there's no asspull at the last second to save his ass.

Higher than average chance that MC has a last-second change of heart when he realizes that killing a murderous psychopath who would explode an entire town to kill one guy would somehow make him just as bad as that murderous psychopath.
