The usual dumb nonsense concerning this manga that everyone's already cited/referenced/observed aside -

This is all being narrated by Shirota from the future, right? The brief bits of internal monologuing from him, like at the end of this chapter, has appeared before; which all alludes to this being like a recounting, or Shirota narrating the goings on to someone at some point well after all these events have taken place.

I think more than anything else, I want to see the ending and who Shirota is talking to (assuming it's not just "the fourth wall that is the reader"), and whether he's happily(?) with Takamine as an adult, or if he finally ended up in prison over some nonsense done to him, or something.

I kinda don't think we'll ever get there, but I admit I'm officially intrigued by that one little tidbit.

I cant believe that we are 6 years into this manga and takamine still pulls the "i see you as beneath me" shtick. I know from a doylist perspective that the target audience of this manga loves to be degraded and that manga authors for some reason are mostly unable to write about a couple thats together, but from a watsonian point of view its really frustrating. Seeing takamine say out loud "yeah its laughable to think id ever love you" while in the same chapter being irritated that he doesnt get that she loves him lowers my opinion of her even more and i didnt know that was possible. Its like she doesnt notice the words she is saying. You could probably make some point about how she doesnt internalize that her actions have consequences because of her ability, but she does understand that veey well, just not with shirota

As expected, shinagashi was not properly punished for her crimes but also not added to the cast permanently cause this manga does not have side characters except the ones introduced for an arc that disappear at the end of it(youd think thatd mean that the main characters would be exceptionally well developed but uhhh). So ig its back to status quo next chapter as always. A real shame, a wingman type character thats almost as insane as takamine was a good chance for a shakeup and maybe some progress.

So, that's it ? Idk if this arc give zero development or not, but I think this isn't really zero development. At this point now Takane know that he always thinking and considering some detail about her. But that's it, only that. And that Hina girl need to be punished. Like, wtf she's stalking and spying (?) using hidden camera, challenging Shirota with nonsense competition and she flew as nothing happen. Idk if author was plotting Hina as wingwomen, but she need to be punished. Okay, now we waiting for the next arc.
