man takamura's broken up over Ippo's loss in his own way too. In the end he truly believed Ippo could enter the realm of monsters and join him he was just egging him on this entire time.
The concerns about his eye's shading and some of the past experiences of Takamura taking hits to his left really make us worry he can't quite see as well out of it, which would make perfect sense for his aggression towards Ippo's injury as he projects his own worries onto him.
