I really like the way this fight is being set up. Both of them look up to boxing champions who they've lost to before, Date and Ricardo respectively. Now they're fighting for the right to challenge the reigning champ. Alf so that he can try and surpass his idol by beating him, and Ippo so he can surpass his idol by beating who Date could not.
