Re-reading this, this chapter makes me actually really upset with the turn later. Cause this is so good. It's still fucked up, but also what happened is, so there's no way around it. But Shirasawa finally tells her what she's wanted to hear ever since she got turned down, and she's clearly moved by it. But she moves on. The scene where she tells Kaho "Go ahead" is really meaningful, because she's clearly saying that her place isn't next to him, but recognizing that Kaho does.
Then it gets all fucked up later. Annoying.
