When Iwashi recalls that Hakumei is a traveller by nature, it just hit me that one possible ending is that Hakumei gets hit with wanderlust again and leaves Mikochi.

I'm not sure I understand what's being said here. Iwashi said that its possible for the two construction companies to co-exist, and the old lady responds with above. What does it mean? Does she mean Hakumei needs to commit to one or the other? Or that Makinata is better with two separate companies?

p3: what did she say? (for past tense questions only the first word should be past tense everything after should remain present and will be understood to have happened in the past)

It's the Konoha lady opinion about one's working commitment. She also said she wouldn't have approached Hakumei had she already established a clear contract with Iwanuki.
