Edit: some of the translation is so different from the official release that I'm not sure who's correct. More incentive to relearn Japanese I guess 🫠🫠🫠

According to Hakumei & Mikochi World Guide book, Katen is a masked palm civet / weasel !! What a surprise right !!

The translation on the official release is definitely more correct and accurate!! Hakumei & Mikochi is not the usual slice of life manga where every chapter has totally distinct case / conflict to cover. What actually happen in the previous chapters might came back as a setting for new chapters in the future. So Yenpress kept an index of what happened/who's getting introduced at one chapter and then reintroduce them again if future chapters recall a moment that has happened 30-40 chapters prior. This way the context wouldn't get thrown out of the window and one subject/place will never have multiple names on the official release!! Hence it's suggested to purchase the official release if you want better translation and not to mention the official book has already been up to vol 11. 😄👍
