This is fairly fun. It's a power fantasy that does a decent job keeping stakes up with a relatively satisfying and quickly (but not too quickly) paced feedback loop. There are moments where the translation is clunky and the word placement of some sentences is just incorrect, so be prepared for those occasions. Ultimately, this doesn't really do anything new, but it's a fun read and the MC feels like he's been hardened by his experience in hell. Whether that remains consistent or not remains to be seen as I'm only 26 chapters in out of the 32 available. I'm pretty happy to recommend this to anyone not sick of system panels (like the poor sap above) and simple power fantasies.

This story has some of what the essence of these kind of stories are-- power fantasy gratification for nerds. However it is very bad at pacing and is poorly written overall. You find yourself reading through 15 chapters for the most minimal, lackluster payoff at chapter 16. Over and over. It never gets good. You will find yourself not caring about anything because the characters and character dynamics is abysmal and might as well have been AI generated. Translation is better than expected considering how bad the work is overall, but it's not great.

I think the main fun here is that MC apparently has power that comes from a different source to the other players and system. Still a lot to be revealed but it seems he won't be able to be complacent and will have other things to defend than the usual family/country/world that these stories usually anchor around. Although it will probably come full circle and all end up being related somehow.

Edit: the additional quests he has to do in order to unlock his powers is a bit weird to me though, or maybe I just didn't quite grasp the explanations. I get that with this premise, they can't just have him plopping down at 100% power with no room for growth but my personal opinion is that they are not being implemented in a ... seamless way to the plot involving all the other characters.

This looks a lot like solo leveling
Indeed.

There was a certain similarity from the beginning. When I saw the dagger, it hit me, but I was only 100% sure when I saw the summons. Even the appearance of the summons is similar, same color scheme and such. There is certainly an extreme similarity, I think it even goes beyond the "homage", I would be happy if the author had his own perspective on the invocations.

there arent a lot of things i hate more than a "ch. 0" thats full of plot not shown in chs. 1+. thats not chapter 0 you dipshit author, its chapter 1. i dont want to skip a ch 0 i thought was series previews, like its supposed to be, and then have to read it after ive already read ch 1. and realized what a stupid, stupid decision you've made.

so im 26 ch in and this webtoon wastes SO. MUCH. TIME. on these unbelievably boring pantheon quests. its zero stakes nothing grinding for his old weapons and stats that literally takes up 2/3rds of the read time. its been 26 chapters and he hasnt even finished registering as an awakened yet, because we get CHAPTER AFTER CHAPTER of him grinding in the void. tbh i just middle click and scroll through them super fast now because they arent even worth reading. its literally nothing. its panel after panel of uninspired action in an empty ass void.

Couldn't agree more with people above.
Translation is, rough, dropped mainly because of it.
As for design choices, for sure there could be better way for MC to recover his powers right? Or at least some kind of restriction in using them in which MC would unlock as story progress.

The story wastes a lot of time on filler quests, there is a lot of wasted time that I ended up skipping because it had little to no plot relevance.

Is the over-arcing plot that heaven came in and fucked everyones shit up, and now those who were fucked by heaven have come to earth to harvest its resources and essence? I can't tell because early on heavenly beings are a key point, but later on the titan aliens who were also fucked over by heaven become the main antagonists.

The plot doesn't have any original content, but it does it well enough for a power fantasy. The art is weird sometimes but decent enough.

The Player That Returned 10,000 Years Later does this entire concept better. Being sucked into hell and returning to an awakened world is a boring trope hat this one does poorly. Player That Can’t Level Up does the entire concept better with actual characters instead of tropes.

This story is brain rot surfing on the thinnest board of tropes and you’re better off not reading it. Family in debt from coma bills trope is done poorly and stupidly. The unmeasurable power level trope is done stupidly despite trying to be unique. The hell stuff is a more realistic time frame but his power reacquisition process makes no sense. It’s like someone fed AI a half dozen manhwa tropes and didn’t edit the machine based plot into something people above a 5th grade reading level can enjoy.

And for so many groups to be translating this, they all mostly suck at it. Especially the early chapters. They’re barely a notch superior to raw machine translation.

Dont waste your time on this.
